Can I put Glass in my Recycling bin?

In the interest of Health & Safety Clean Ireland Recycling will not collect glass in our regular Recycling bin. If you live in the Ennis, Shannon, Limerick or Kilrush area please use the glass collection box provided. Alternatively take your glass to the local bottle banks.

What will happen if I put refuse or contaminated material in my Recycling bin?

The bin will be rejected and will only be emptied when the contaminated material has been removed.

How do I pay my bill online?

What can I put in my Recycling bin?

* Clean mixed paper, newspapers, magazines, brochures, leaflets
* Clean cardboard
* Washed drink cans (aluminium)
* Washed food cans (Steel)
* washed tetra paks (milk & juice cartons)
* Washed plastic bottles/containers
* Plastic packaging (washed and free from any food contamination)
* Plastic film wrap (free from any food contamination)
* Plastic bags (empty bags only. Do not place other recyclables in bags)
