Welcome to our Residential section where you will find information on our Domestic service. In this section you can register for a Clean Ireland Recycling residential wheelie bin account. Our residential collection service handles 4 main areas:

• Waste Management
• Recycling
• Composting
• Glass Collection
  

Once registered online for our service, your bins will be delivered and your service collection will start. Full details of our collection schedule for waste, recycling and glass are outlined below.

The Clean Ireland Recycling pay by weight service helps both the environment and your pocket. It is the tried and tested most cost efficient way for Irish householders to manage their domestic waste. By proper recycling, Clean Ireland Recycling rewards its customers. The more recyclable material you can divert to your Blue Top Recycling bin, the less you pay.

Service Details	order this service
Bins	1 x 240 ltr bin for waste 1 x 360 ltr bin for recycling 1 x brown bin for food waste plus a 7ltr kitchen caddy 55 ltr container for free glass collection in certain areas.
Costs	€ 143.82 for 6 months. OR € 285.00 for 12 months. After a billing term your lift weight is evaluated and you are placed into the appropriate lift band. Increased recycling will reduce your future bills further. As part of Clean Ireland Recycling's commitment to transparency, your invoice will show exact details of all your bin lifts, exact weights, Truck registration no. date/time of collection. Price includes all landfill charges and levies.
Collections	Weekly, with waste and recycling on alternate weeks. In Clare area (excluding Shannon Saturday Collection area), brown bin is collected same day as your recycle bin. In Limerick area (including Shannon Saturday Collection area), brown bin collected same day as your waste bin.
Payment Methods	Credit/Laser Card, Direct Debit, Cheque/Cash. Payment can be made online or at any of our offices.
Add-on Services	Glass collection in many parts of Clare and Limerick and being extended on an ongoing basis. Brown Bin collection in many parts of Clare & Limerick. If not in your area now, will be soon. Help in gaining tax relief.

GLASS COLLECTION
If you are in the Limerick, Shannon, Ennis and Kilrush areas you can avail of a FREE 55 ltr container for FREE Glass collection. Please see collection calendar and routes in the our documents section.

BROWN BIN COLLECTION
The new Brown Bin food waste service is available in many parts of Clare and Limerick. If not in your area now, it will be soon.

TAX RELIEF
You can claim tax back on refuse collection fees by doing the following. Contact us for a copy of your receipt of payments and then forward this receipt with your PPS number to your local Revenue office. Or alternatively you can contact them by phone on 1890 22 24 25. When you speak to a customer service advisor you can give them the amounts paid and they will deal with it for you. Up to the 31st December 2008 it is possible to claim back to 2003.
