WASTE MANAGEMENT

Our Waste Management services for Residential customers encourages and rewards those people who wish to recycle and manage their waste in a controlled fashion.

We provide 5 bins, one for General Waste, one for Dry Recycling, two for Food Waste (including a kitchen caddy) and one for Glass. The General Waste, Recycling and Brown bin for food waste is collected fortnightly in multi-compartment trucks. The Glass bin is collected on a different schedule. Please refer to the Documents section of the website for collection calander. In conjunction with our Eco-Save Service we operate a Pay by Weight system. All bins are weighed. We bill twice yearly, March and September, and the weights used to calculate your bill are taken from the previous six months. Therefore your initial bill is an estimate based on our average as we need 13 consecutive lifts to give actual weights.

A FREE container for FREE glass is provided in Ennis, Limerick, Shannon and Kilrush. Please see Glass Calenders in the documents section for collection dates etc. Other areas should take their glass to their local bring banks.
