Welcome to our Residential section where you will find information on our Domestic service. In this section you can register for a Clean Ireland Recycling residential wheelie bin account. Our residential collection service handles 5 main areas:

Once registered online for our service, your bins will be delivered and your service collection will start. Full details of our collection schedule for waste, recycling and glass are outlined below.

Pay by Weight service including new 360ltr recycling bin
The Clean Ireland Recycling pay by weight service helps both the environment and your pocket. It is the tried and tested most cost efficient way for Irish householders to manage their domestic waste. By proper recycling, Clean Ireland Recycling rewards its customers. The more recyclable material you can divert to your Blue Top Recycling bin, the less you pay.

  • 1 x 240 ltr bin for waste
  • 1 x 360 ltr bin for recycling
  • 1 x brown bin for food waste plus a 7ltr kitchen caddy
  • 55 ltr container for free glass collection in certain areas.
Costs €154.82 for 6 months OR €309 for 12 months.

After a billing term your lift weight is evaluated and you are placed into the appropriate lift band. Increased recycling will reduce your future bills further.
As part of Clean Ireland Recycling's commitment to transparency, your invoice will show exact details of all your bin lifts, exact weights, Truck registration no. date/time of collection.
Price includes all landfill charges and levies.
Collections Fortnightly, with all bins (General Waste, Recycling & Food Bin) collected together in multi-compartment trucks. We also provide a Clothing Collection in partnership with the Brothers of Charity, clean clothing to be placed in separate plastic bags alongside your bin. Your Glass bin will be collected on a different schedule. Please refer to the Documents section of our website for collection calendars.

  • Food Composting collection in many parts of Clare & Limerick. If not in your area now, will be soon.
  • Glass collection in many parts of Clare and Limerick and being extended on an ongoing basis.
  • Clothing collection in partnership with the Brothers of Charity, clean clothing and shoes in pairs to be left in plastic bags beside your bins.

FOOD COMPOSTING COLLECTION

GLASS COLLECTION
We provide a Glass Collection in certain areas, if we service your area for glass a FREE 55 litre container will be delivered to you and the glass collection is completed every two months. Further details are available in our documents section.

CLOTHING COLLECTION
Clean Ireland Recycling offer a free Clothing collection to all our customers in partnership with the Brothers of Charity. We accept clean clothes, footwear tied in pairs, bed linen, curtains, towels etc in separate plastic bags beside your bins.

TAX RELIEF
If you wish to claim tax back on your refuse collections please contact Clean Ireland for a copy of payments on your account by emailing us at admin@cleanirl.com or calling us on 1890 361 800 and selecting option 2 for the Household Department, a member of our Customer Service team will be able to assist you. To claim back the tax on your refuse service you will need to contact Revenue, for further details visit www.revenue.ie.
